        All India Medical Entrance Examination (AU AIMEE 2013 Exam) is conducted by Anna University for admission to its various medical courses. Annamalai University is one of the oldest universities in India, having established in 1928.

It conducts a common entrance examination to all the medical bachelor courses which includes MBBS, BDS, BPT, B.Sc (Nursing) and B.Pharm. Admission is based on the percentage of class 12th marks, Anna university All India Medical Entrance Test (written) and a personal interview. Admission is considered to be extremely tough especially for MBBS course through AU AIMEE entrance examination.

AU AIMEE 2013 Exam will be conducted in selected centres in Tamil Nadu for the candidates who intend to seek admission for the following Self-Financing Programmes in the University for the year 2013.

Eligibility Criteria for
AU AIMEE

The candidates who have passed or appeared for the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination conducted by the Tamil Nadu State Board or CBSE or an equivalent examination are eligible to appear for the Entrance Examinations for M.B.B.S./B.D.S/B.P.T./B.Sc.Nursing/B.Pharm. course.

Age limit : The Candidate should be more than 17 of Age at the time of the submission.

Exam Pattern :

The question paper to be allotted in the examination contains several pages stapled together in the form of a booklet. The number of objective type questions to be answered is 120 in Paper-I and 120 in Paper-II. The allowed time is 3 hours, for each paper. The candidates have to attend both papers. 

Paper - I: Biology : contains 60 questions in Botany and 60 questions in Zoology.

Paper - II: Physical Sciences : contains 60 questions in Physics and 60 questions in Chemistry.

AU AIMEE Entrance Examination will be based on the revised syllabus and text books prescribed for the second year of the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination conducted by the Tamil Nadu State Board (Academic).

How to Apply for AU AIMEE Exam

  • Application Form can be obtained in person by making cash payment at the Cash Counter at Administrative Office of the University at Annamalainagar on all working days.
  • Application can also been obtained by post - the candidate should send a requisition letter along with a Demand Draft for Rs.300/-. The Demand draft should be drawn in favour of 
               "THE REGISTRAR, ANNAMALAI UNIVERSITY, ANNAMALAINAGAR - 608002" 

  • or after 06.05.2013 from ANY BANK PAYABLE AT CHENNAI and a self addressed KRAFT Envelope of Size 35cm x 15 cm with stamps affixed to the value of Rs.25 .Application forms should be sent ONLY BY ORDINARY POST and the University will not be held responsible for non-receipt of Application Forms.

Every applicant of Delhi Technological University should apply through DCE CEE entrance exam and must fulfill entrance eligibility criteria of Delhi College of Engineering Combined Entrance Exam (DCE CEE exam), which is as described here in brief.

  1. Applicant must have reached minimum 17 years of age on or before the first October.

The Upper age limit is relax able for candidates belonging to Scheduled caste/scheduled tribe/ other backward classes and certain other categories.

Educational Qualification:

The candidate must have a valid Post-graduate degree in Economics/Applied Economics/Business Economics/ Econometrics.

Candidates who are studying in final year Degree Course and are yet to pass their final year degree examination or equivalent examination can also apply for exam, but they will be required to submit proof of passing by the specified dates published in Commission's Notice for Examination.

Duration of Examination 

The exams will be held for 03 Days.

Candidates should be physically fit according to physical standards for admission to Indian Economic Service/Indian Statistical Service Examination, 2013 as per Regulations put up.  

How to Apply for IES Exam

This application form along with an Information Brochure containing general instructions for filling up the form, an acknowledgement card and an envelope for sending the application is obtainable from the designated Head Post Offices/Post Offices throughout the country and may be purchased against cash payment of Rs.20/-.

Candidates must fill only the form supplied with the Information Brochure. Form should be purchased from the designated Post Offices only and not from any other agency/offices. Candidates must not use photocopy/ reproduction/ unauthorized printed copy of the Form. That will face rejection. Each form can be used only once i.e. for only one examination.

SELECTION PROCEDURE:

The selection process for the candidates in IES exam generally consists of various steps. Initially, a written examination is conducted, which shortlists candidates for the interview process. The further selected candidates requires to go through physical fitness stages, document verification procedures and a final medical test before getting the final selection into the system.
   
For the initial written test, the candidates will have to go through 6 parts, which form a total of 1000 marks. For IES exam, the 6 parts are – Genl. English, Genl. Studies, Genl. Economics 1, Genl. Economics 2, Genl. Economics 3 and Indian Economics.

NABARD (National Bank for Agriculture & Rural Development) was setup to extend facilities for development purposes to agriculture, small scale industries & allied industries. Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) will conduct common Written Examination (CWE) for recruitment of officers and staff in RRBs in 2012-2013.  It was established on 12th July 1982 by a special act by the parliament and its main focus was to uplift rural India by increasing the credit flow for elevation of agriculture & rural non farm sector and completed its 25 years on 12th July 2007.

About NABARD: National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) is an apex development bank in India having headquarters in Mumbai (Maharashtra) and other branches are all over the country. The Committee is to Review Arrangements for Institutional Credit for Agriculture and Rural Development (CRAFICARD), set up by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) under the chairmanship of Shri B. Sivaraman, who recommended the establishment of National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD exam).

Eligibility Criteria for NABARD Exam

For A grade post (RDBBS) in the NABARD, the candidate should have a bachelor’s degree with minimum 55% marks. In the case of scheduled caste and scheduled tribe 45% marks only are required. The candidate with postgraduate degree will be given weight age in the interview.

In Rajbhasha service, the candidate should have degree in Hindi with 55%. For SC/ST candidates the percentage of marks required is 45%. The candidates with PG degree in Hindi or Sanskrit shall be with a minimum 2 years experience in translation work. The candidate should have a working knowledge for minimum 1 year.

In the case of legal service post, candidate should have a degree certificate in the field of law.

The candidate should have practiced as advocate or solicitor for minimum five years. For SC/ST candidates’, minimum 4 years experience is required. If the candidate is having PG in law then he / she will be given special weight ages in the interview.

All the candidates should have basic computer knowledge.

Age limit for the post of assistant manager is 28 years and lower age limit is 21 years.

Age limit for grade B post is 34 and lower age limit is 21years.

There is age relaxation for the candidates in the reservation categories.

Exam Pattern: Eligible candidates for the recruitment of staff in Regional Rural banks shall attend Common Written Exam that will be conducted by IBPS. Successful candidates in the Written Exam will be issued Scorecards on their performance and subsequently they will be called by Bank's. Such Candidates are required to fulfill the eligibility criteria of Rural Bank for which they are applying.

Structure of NABARD Grade A/B Exam:

The exam will have two stages. The first stage consists of written exam and the second stage consists of interview. The first stage is again divided into two phases:

Phase one again has two papers.

Paper one will be having questions from
  • General Awareness
  • Test of English
  • Numerical/Quantitative Aptitude
  • Reasoning
Paper two will be descriptive type test on English. Candidates will be asked to answer passages and comprehensions. Phase two will have questions from economic and social issues. Interview will be only for those candidates who score high rank in the written exam.
